In a candid interview with Billboard, seven to five shared their creative process and the challenges they faced while developing a performance that felt as live as possible despite the time constraints.
“We had a limited amount of time to develop a performance, so we thought a lot about how to make each movement feel smooth and cohesive,” said Jihoon Jeon. “We looked at it widely to bring the live aspect to life.”
The duo also emphasized their admiration for the K-pop group’s dedication and professionalism.
“They’re so great, the members are so nice, so talented and so energetic, and when we get them challenging movements, they do so well with the acting they’re asked to do at specific times. They really feel like veterans,” Jihoon Jeon praised.

“We wanted to bring the energy and performance style of SEVENTEEN’s music videos to the BBMAs stage,” shared seven to five. “We aimed to make it feel like they’re performing live in front of the audience.”
