There’s Now A Much Cheaper Samsung Galaxy Ring Rival With A Screen
For those who are looking for a smart ring with a screen at a budget-friendly price, the new Rogbid SR08 Ultra is an attractive option. At $89.99, it’s significantly cheaper than its competitors, including the Samsung Galaxy Ring.
The SR08 Ultra comes packed with features that rival those found on more expensive devices. It has activity tracking modes for hiking, cycling, and running, among other activities, as well as GPS connectivity, although this is likely to be Connected GPS rather than a dedicated antenna. Additionally, it tracks heart rate continuously throughout the day, monitors sleep patterns, measures blood oxygenation levels, and can even be used as a watch replacement.
The ring itself has a titanium outer casing and weighs in at just 4g, making it incredibly lightweight. Its battery life is also impressive, lasting 3-5 days on a single charge, with the ability to recharge via a magnetic charger case.
While some may notice that the SR08 Ultra’s marketing materials contain an error regarding blood oxygenation levels (which are actually measured in mmHg, not “mm Hg” as stated), this is a minor quibble compared to the device’s impressive feature set and affordable price.
For those on a budget who still want access to advanced health and fitness tracking features, the Rogbid SR08 Ultra seems like an attractive option.
