Becky Lynch’s Remarkable Rise May be Reaching its Climax
As WWE fans are left wondering where their beloved Becky Lynch will be next, it appears her remarkable journey as a full-time superstar may be drawing to a close. The news broke on Monday that Lynch has joined the cast of Paramount Plus’ new Star Trek: Starfleet Academy TV series.
While this doesn’t necessarily confirm her departure from WWE, the trend among other successful wrestlers suggests otherwise. Many have transitioned into part-time roles, balancing wrestling with other pursuits and commitments. Her recent appearances at WWE Netflix events and husband Seth Rollins’ standing with the promotion make it less likely she’ll be leaving for another promotion.
However, what’s undeniable is Lynch’s incredible success and consistency within WWE. With seven singles titles under her belt, including two WWE Championships, five Women’s World Championships, and one NXT Championship, she has truly been a force to be reckoned with. Additionally, she holds the record as the sixth Women’s Grand Slam champion in WWE history.
One can’t help but wonder what other ventures Lynch may have lined up for her future. With her acting credits already including appearances in Marine 6 and Young Rock where she portrayed music icon Cyndi Lauper, it’s not hard to imagine more opportunities on the horizon.
Will we see Lynch return to WWE? It’s difficult to say at this point. If history is any indicator, her next appearance could be a surprise entrant into the Women’s Royal Rumble or Raw’s Netflix debut in January.
