Bybit To Stop Services in France Effective January 8, 2025
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has announced that it will be discontinuing its withdrawal and custody services in France starting from January 8, 2025. In a recent statement, the company emphasized the importance of users checking their account balances before the deadline to avoid any unexpected charges or losses.
According to the announcement, users with an account balance of $10 USD or less will be charged a fee of $10 USD and their accounts will be closed. On the other hand, users with more than $10 USD in their accounts will have their funds transferred to Coinhouse, a separate cryptocurrency exchange platform.
After January 8, 2025, all withdrawal requests from Bybit will need to go through Coinhouse’s platform. This change is significant for French users of Bybit as they are now forced to adapt to the new circumstances and transfer their assets accordingly.
It is essential that users take immediate action by checking their balances to avoid any unforeseen consequences. With only a few weeks left before the deadline, users should ensure that they follow this development carefully and adjust their accounts accordingly to avoid unnecessary losses.
