Revolut Expands Security Measures for Cryptocurrency Customers
Financial technology company Revolut has announced plans to expand its security measures for cryptocurrency customers, following a successful pilot program that showed a significant reduction in fraud attempts.
According to reports, the new features will be rolled out early next year and include enhanced know-your-customer (KYC) name matching between Revolut and exchange accounts. This move aims to address current limitations in card transactions and bank transfers with crypto exchanges, which have left users more vulnerable to fraud.
The pilot program demonstrated a 50% reduction in fraud attempts compared to traditional payment methods.
