‘Become Anyone’ Mask: Put On Endless Faces With 3,000 LEDs
Sean Hodgins, a mechanical engineer and maker from Ontario, Canada, has created a revolutionary new device that allows the wearer to change their face into any imaginable persona or character. The ‘Become Anyone’ mask is equipped with an astonishing 3,000 LEDs, which can be programmed to display endless faces, patterns, and even animations.
The innovative wearable technology uses programmable LED matrices on each panel of the mask, giving users absolute control over individual lights for unlimited creative possibilities. This means that the wearer can transform into anyone or anything they desire – a character from a video game, a superhero, an animal, or even a work of art.
Hodgins initially debuted his original ‘Become Anyone’ mask five years ago, which utilized a small projector mounted to the end of a pole attached to the chin. While this initial version was impressive, the new and improved Become Anyone 2.0 has taken things to an entirely new level.
