Steam Replay 2024 Now Available: Compare Your Gaming Habits With Friends
Valve has released its annual Steam Replay feature for the year 2024. This data-driven snapshot allows users to analyze their gaming habits and compare them with those of their friends. The platform’s take on Spotify Wrapped, Steam Replay provides a comprehensive overview of each user’s gameplay activity throughout the year.
Upon accessing the feature, users can expect to find insights such as the number of games and demos played, achievements unlocked, longest gaming streak, and most-played titles. Additionally, Valve has also collected data on the time spent playing on its Steam Deck console, preferred genres, and more.
According to my Replay, a significant portion of my time on Steam this year was dedicated to 1000xRESIST, Arco, Animal Well, and Balatro. Notably, I spent an astonishing 100% of my time using Steam on the Steam Deck in 2024. While this may be an unusual case for the average user, it’s the only surprising element that emerged from digging through Valve’s data.
The feature allows users to share their Replay publicly with friends or attach a summary of their stats directly to their Steam profile. This provides an excellent opportunity to compare gaming habits and engage in friendly competition or simply reflect on your own gaming experiences throughout the year.
Valve has also shared some general insights, revealing that the median Steam user only played four games this year and unlocked 13 achievements.
