This is not the only significant event that occurred today, as Binance made the surprising announcement of delisting three tokens, namely WRX, AKRO, and BLZ.
The decision was taken without specifying any specific reasons for the action. Usually, such moves are preceded by regulatory concerns or inadequate trading activity. The effect on these tokens is being felt, with WRX plummeting 40%, AKRO losing 25%, and BLZ dropping 24% in a short span of time.
In other news, Bitcoin’s price dropped by 1.98% to $104,923.94. Despite this pullback, it remains the largest cryptocurrency, claiming an impressive 56.47% share of the total market capitalization.
Altcoins also saw their fair share of gains and losses today. Ethereum fell 3.12% in a day, while Solana’s price skyrocketed by an astonishing 13.74%. Other notable gainers include MOVE with a 7.72% rise, followed by BGB with a 5.21% increase.
On the other end of the spectrum, HNT saw its value decline by -11.33%, PYTH plummeting by -10.48%, and DYDX by -9.80%.
