Binance To Delist 3 Tokens Amid Regulatory Concerns
Binance, a popular cryptocurrency exchange platform, has recently announced the delisting of three tokens due to regulatory concerns. The affected tokens are Kaon (AKRO), Bluzelle (BLZ) and WazirX (WRX).
According to the official statement from Binance, this decision comes after a routine asset review was conducted to ensure that all listed tokens meet industry standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Key Dates and Impacted Services
The delisting process is set to begin on December 18, 2024. Cross and isolated margin borrowings for these tokens will be suspended at this time. By December 23, cross-margin accounts will automatically settle outstanding liabilities, with any remaining token converted to USDT within a 24-hour timeframe.
After the delisting date of December 25, trading pairs such as AKRO/USDT, BLZ/BTC, and BLZ/USDT will no longer be available for trading. Additionally, users are advised to unhide small balances in their wallets so that these assets can be tracked.
Withdrawal support for these tokens will cease on February 25, 2025.
