U.S. Representative Bill Johnson has called out the Biden administration for failing to provide satisfactory explanations regarding the recent surge in reported drone sightings in New Jersey.
During a press conference, Johnson demanded that the administration “do its job” and provide concrete evidence to alleviate concerns about the potential threat posed by these unidentified flying objects.
“I’m not buying the answers I’ve been getting from this administration,” Johnson said. “The American people are not buying it either. They want to know what’s going on here, and they deserve better than vague reassurances.”
Johnson’s remarks came as a result of an FBI press conference earlier in the day, during which officials downplayed the possibility of malicious foreign activity behind the drone sightings.
Representative Johnson expressed skepticism over the administration’s claims that these incidents were simply misidentifications of lawfully flown drones or planes.
