Nexus Testnet Reaches 1.5 Million Nodes Worldwide
December 20, 2024 – In a groundbreaking achievement, Nexus has successfully hosted a five-day testnet that attracted participation from over 1.5 million nodes across 187 countries worldwide. The remarkable feat showcases substantial global engagement in the concept of a decentralized supercomputer.
The impressive turnout is marked by significant contributions from mobile devices, with approximately 37% of network traffic originating from handheld devices. This mobile-first approach has been instrumental in driving network growth, as evidenced by the participation levels seen in countries such as Ethiopia and Poland, where mobile-based engagement outpaced desktop-based activity.
