Ultron Leaks In ‘Marvel Rivals,’ Here’s His Surprising Role And Kit
As Marvel Rivals prepares to launch a plethora of new characters, leaks are starting to surface, revealing not only the arrival of certain heroes and villains but also their roles within the game. One such leak has caught many off guard: Ultron’s surprising appearance in ‘Marvel Rivals’ as Support/Strategist.
Ultron’s kit includes several abilities that deviate from his traditional destructive persona. His Encephalo Ray is a burning energy beam, which could be used to damage enemies or heal allies. His Rage of Ultron (Q, Ultimate) skill allows him to summon drones that fire Encephalo-Rays at foes or mend friends.
Furthermore, he possesses Dynamic Flight (Shift), an ability that enables him to fly quickly in the direction of his movement and then enter a free-flight mode. This could potentially make him harder to target by enemies, but also more challenging for allies to protect.
His Imperative skills, Patch (E) and Firewall (Left Click), allow him to command a giant drone to follow an ally, constantly healing those within its radius, including an additional healing bonus for the targeted ally. Lastly, his Passive skill, Algorithm Correction, allows him to fall slowly while holding space.
It’s worth noting that Ultron’s kit appears to focus heavily on healing and mobility, with only his base attack ray potentially causing significant damage. This raises questions about whether he will be a viable tankier Strategist in the game due to his self-healing abilities.
