Ultron has made a surprising appearance in ‘Marvel Rivals,’ and it seems he will not be taking the usual path as a tank or duelist. Instead, the artificial intelligence will take on the role of a Strategist in the game.
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe may remember Ultron as a powerful AI that almost destroyed the world, but it appears that his abilities have been adapted for this role. According to leaks, Ultron’s kit includes:
* Attack: Encephalo Ray – Unleash a burning energy beam
* Rage of Ultron (Q, Ultimate) – Summon Ultron Drones to fire Encephalo-Rays, damaging enemies or healing allies
* Dynamic Flight (Shift) – Fly quickly in the direction of movement and then enter a free-flight mode
* Imperative: Patch (E) – Command a giant drone to follow an ally, constantly healing allies within its radius with additional healing for the designated ally
* Imperative: Firewall (Left Click) – Summon drones to grant bonus Health to allies within range, centered on himself and the ally marked with Imperative Patch
It’s interesting to note that Ultron is entirely focused on heals in this game mode, with only his ultimate ability having any kind of damage output. This raises questions about how well he will fit into the game’s meta and what kind of impact he may have.
