Boris Johnson: Hapless Starmer and Reeves are doing for Britain’s economy what Harold Shipman did for gerontology. But at least young voters are learning about the Doom Loop of Socialism
In a scathing attack, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson has compared Labour leader Keir Starmer and Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves to infamous serial killer Dr. Harold Shipman, who murdered his patients under the guise of medical treatment.
Johnson’s shocking comparison is over Britain’s economy, stating that just as Shipman did for gerontology (the study of old age), Starmer and Reeves are doing for Britain’s economy – implying they are responsible for a catastrophic failure.
This comes after Starmer and Reeves have been criticized for their economic policies, particularly on taxation and spending. Johnson has long been a vocal critic of the Labour party’s proposals, which he claims will cripple the nation’s economy.
However, it seems Johnson is not just targeting his opponents, as he also had some words of encouragement for young voters. While he slammed Starmer and Reeves, he praised the youth for being “learning about the Doom Loop of Socialism,” implying that they are becoming more aware of the devastating consequences of socialist policies.
The comparison to Shipman may be seen by many as a dramatic overstatement, but it is clear that Johnson believes these leaders pose an existential threat to Britain’s economy and future.
