Major Company Negotiating Bitcoin Proposal: Report
A major company is secretly negotiating a proposal to invest in Bitcoin, as reported by U.Today. This move comes despite the fact that over 99% of Microsoft shareholders voted against assessing Bitcoin investing just recently.
The think tank behind this initiative, the National Center for Public Policy Research (NCPPR), remains unfazed by the rejection at MicroSoft and is planning to file more similar proposals in the future.
Co-founder Michael Saylor was quoted as saying that he didn’t expect major corporations to instantly buy into Bitcoin, but he predicted it would eventually become part of the conversation. Despite this, only a small fraction of chief financial officers (CFOs) believe that it could serve as a store of value.
It’s worth noting that NCPPR has not received any financial contributions from cryptocurrency-focused groups, further solidifying their independent stance on the matter.
