Hut8’s Big Bitcoin Purchase
In a recent tweet, MicroStrategy’s CEO Michael Saylor highlighted the significant news of crypto mining company Hut8 making a massive purchase of 990 Bitcoins. This transaction amounts to roughly $100 million, with each coin being purchased at an average price of $101,710.
As a result of this acquisition, Hut8 has now accumulated more than 10,000 Bitcoins in its reserve, valued at approximately $1 billion as of December 18th.
