Asus has officially teased the release of a brand-new RGB-outlined Rog Strix laptop, set to debut at CES 2025, according to a recent post spotted by VideoCardz.
The cryptic teaser shared by Asus showcases a laptop with striking RGB lighting that wraps around the entire bottom of the device. This innovative design is likely to create an even more mesmerizing underglow compared to previous generations.
While the Taiwanese tech giant has not specified which Rog Strix models it will be unveiling, leaked retail listings suggest that new iterations of the Rog Strix 18 Scar and Rog Strix G16 could make their debut. Rumors have also emerged suggesting that these laptops may boast impressive specs such as Intel Core Ultra 9 285 HX processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics chips for the Rog Strix Scar 18, and possibly up to a GeForce RTX 5080 in the Rog Strix G16, as reported by NotebookCheck.
It’s worth noting that Asus may have more surprises in store beyond just the launch of these two laptops. Recent leaks have hinted at the company preparing to unveil an upgraded Rog Flow Z13 hybrid tablet/gaming laptop equipped with AMD’s next-gen “Strix Halo” processor.
Details are scarce for now, but the wait won’t be long – CES 2025 is just around the corner, and we can expect a full reveal of Asus’ latest offerings shortly.
