Asus teases a new RGB-outlined Rog Strix laptop coming next year
Taiwan-based computer hardware manufacturer Asus has just teased its latest innovation in the gaming industry. The company confirmed that it will be launching a brand-new RGB-outlined Rog Strix laptop at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 6th, 2025.
The short teaser shared by Asus provides a glimpse of what can be expected from this new product. The image shows a sleek and modern design with RGB lighting that wraps around the bottom of the device, offering users an immersive gaming experience like never before. While details are scarce at this point, it is clear that the new Rog Strix laptop will be designed to meet the growing demands for high-performance gaming hardware.
Leaks suggest that Asus might unveil two new laptops as part of its flagship lineup: the Rog Strix 18 Scar and the Rog Strix G16. The latter could potentially feature a powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 285 HX processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics chip, whereas the former would be equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285 HX processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics chip.
It is also possible that Asus has more surprises in store for its audience at CES. Recent rumors hint that the company may introduce an upgraded version of its Rog Flow Z13 hybrid tablet / gaming laptop, which would be equipped with AMD’s next-gen “Strix Halo” processor.
