Beyoncé is joining forces with Netflix to poke fun at a very relatable issue – buffering. The Queen Bey has released a teaser for her upcoming halftime show during the NFL’s Christmas Day game, and it’s all about internet connectivity woes.
In the hilarious clip, Beyoncé can be seen strumming a banjo while sitting on a couch, with a Netflix buffer wheel spinning in the background. She pokes fun at the frustrating experience of waiting for your favorite shows to load by incorporating some witty lyrics.
“I’m tryin’ to watch my show, but it’s all delayed / The buffering wheel is getting in the way,” she sings.
The joke is clearly aimed at the frustration many Netflix users feel when their streams are slowed down or interrupted due to internet connectivity issues. And Beyoncé is not alone – the teaser also features a cameo by none other than NFL legend, 50 Cent.
However, it’s unclear what role he’ll be playing in the halftime show.
The ‘A Cowboy Carter Christmas’ special will air on Netflix just ahead of the NFL game’s kickoff.
