
Pittsburgh Steelers legend Ben Roethlisberger has come out strongly against the NFL’s decision to schedule games on Christmas Day. The former quarterback believes that the move is all about generating revenue and not about prioritizing player health and safety.
Roethlisberger made his feelings known while discussing the unusual scheduling, which sees the Steelers playing three games in just 11 days. “It’s miserable,” he stated bluntly. “It’s a shame that the league does this. It just shows that it’s all about money and this is a way that they can make more money and figure this thing out.”
The NFL has come under fire for its decision to schedule games on Christmas Day, with several players voicing their displeasure at the idea of having to play on December 25th.
