Pittsburgh Steelers legend and former quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is not pleased with the National Football League’s (NFL) decision to host games on Christmas Day. In a recent statement, Roethlisberger expressed his discontent towards the league’s scheduling decisions.
“It’s miserable,” Roethlisberger said, disapprovingly addressing the NFL’s decision to prioritize profits over player welfare. “It shows that it’s all about money and this is a way that they can make more money and figure this thing out because it’s not fair for the players.”
Roethlisberger highlighted the physical toll of such scheduling decisions on the players, stating that it is contradictory to the league’s efforts to prioritize player safety.
