Ravens’ Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry Refuse to Eat Netflix Football Cake in Awkward Moment
In a peculiar moment, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry appeared uninterested in consuming a Netflix-themed cake celebrating their team’s victory over the Houston Texans.
During a post-game interview with Jamie Erdahl, Jackson and Henry were offered slices of the cake. However, the star quarterback and running back politely declined the offer, expressing a preference for “real food” instead.
“I need to eat real food, then dessert,” Jackson explained, firmly rejecting the Netflix cake.
Henry attempted to convince Jackson to give the cake a try, but his teammate remained resolute in his decision.
Despite their apparent disinterest in the sweet treat, the Ravens duo put on an impressive display on the field. Jackson’s phenomenal performance included two touchdown passes and a 48-yard rushing touchdown, breaking Michael Vick’s career rushing record for a quarterback with 6,110 yards.
In contrast, their team’s victory was met with celebration as they took control of the AFC North division following Pittsburgh Steelers’ loss to Kansas City Chiefs earlier in the day.
