‘Squad’ Democrats Demand End to US Investigation Into Anti-Israel Weapons Embargo

A group of House Democrats, known as the “Squad,” has demanded an end to a U.S. government investigation into Spain’s refusal to allow certain ships carrying humanitarian aid to dock at its ports.

The trio of progressive lawmakers – Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), Cori Bush (D-Mo.) and Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) – have been outspoken critics of Israel, claiming the country’s actions in Gaza are disproportionate and violating international law.
