Russia claims that Ukraine was preparing to assassinate high-ranking officials
Moscow has accused Ukraine of attempting to murder high-ranking defense officials, including a Russian defense official who was previously targeted in an assassination attempt. The allegations were made by the Federal Security Service (FSB) and are part of a larger narrative accusing Ukraine of being responsible for a series of bomb attacks and assassinations.
According to the FSB, several individuals believed to be connected to Ukrainian intelligence agencies were arrested in connection with the alleged plot.
