With exceptional battery life, an excellent keyboard, and stunning visuals, it’s both pound for pound and dollar for dollar the best choice around. Sam wasn’t a fan of its soldered-in RAM and ASUS’ Armoury Crate app, but these drawbacks didn’t detract from our overall enthusiasm.
Other devices that received high praise include the iPhone 16 Pro, which offers an unparalleled mobile experience, and the reMarkable Paper Pro, a color e-paper tablet that’s brought back waves of nostalgia in a world where we’re increasingly detached from physical writing. While it may seem old-fashioned, this $580 device is capable of much more than its monochrome predecessor and might just be the thing to free us from our laptops and phones.
We also have to give an honorable mention to Apple’s iPad Air (2024), which has been a game-changer in terms of portability and versatility.
