My Top 10 Japanese Games Of 2024
As we welcome a new year, I’d like to take a look back at the best Japanese games released in 2024. As someone who follows and appreciates the gaming world from Japan, there have been many impressive titles to choose from this year. Here’s my countdown of the top ten.
10. Not included in the list is Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, as it’s a DLC release. I do want to give an honorable mention to Metaphor: ReFantazio for its incredible work.

#10. It was great to see Zelda get her own game in the form of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
