Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Release Date Leaks: Pre-Orders Open January 24th and More
Galaxy Unpacked event. According to South Korean news outlet FN News, the pre-order period for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series will run from January 24th to February 3rd. This means that buyers won’t be able to complete their purchases until February 4th before the official retail launch on February 7th.
There are two key points to take away from this leak. The first is that everything is running a week later than the Galaxy S24 launch in January 2024. The second is that pre-orders will open two days after the presentation, instead of immediately. It’s worth noting that these dates have not been officially confirmed by Samsung.
In terms of potential deals for early adopters, it’s expected that Samsung may offer some incentives to encourage people to order their devices as soon as possible. This could include free storage upgrades or discounts on other products such as the Galaxy Buds FE and Watch 6. If history repeats itself, we might see Samsung reserve specific color options as exclusive to its own retail store.
There’s also speculation about a potential special edition of the S25 series. A report suggests that an additional slim variant called the Galaxy S25 Special Edition may be released later in the year, similar to the strategy used with the Galaxy Z Fold6.
