Jason Momoa Is the DCU’s Lobo
He’s been campaigning for it almost as long as he’s been Aquaman, and now, the dream has finally come true – Jason Momoa is set to take on the mantle of the intergalactic bounty hunter, Lobo. According to Deadline, Momoa will first appear in the upcoming film Woman of Tomorrow, which stars House of the Dragon’s Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El.
While Momoa didn’t specify when he’d be appearing, he confirmed the news by posting a screenshot from an earlier quote on Instagram, stating “If [DC Studios] call and ask me to play him, it’s a fuck yeah,” now with the caption “they called.”
This marks yet another major casting announcement for DC Studios, following the reveal of Superman’s teaser trailer, which reportedly broke records as the biggest Warner Bros./DC Trailer ever.
