New ‘Marvel Rivals’ Leaks: 13 Characters, 3 Maps, Plus Team-Ups
The highly anticipated Marvel Rivals game is gearing up to make a huge impact with the latest leak revealing a massive update. According to recent datamining courtesy of X0X_Leak, Season 1 of Marvel Rivals is set to introduce an astonishing 13 new characters to its roster.
Among the newly leaked characters are some exciting additions such as Angela, Hit-Monkey, Deadpool, Captain Marvel, Emma Frost, Phoenix/Jean Grey, Valkyrie, and MODOK. These join previously leaked characters like Mr. Fantastic, Human Torch, The Invisible Woman, and The Thing, bringing the total roster size to an impressive 33 characters.
What’s more remarkable is that some of these characters already have leaked abilities and voicelines, hinting at their potential inclusion in future seasons.

Furthermore, three new maps have been datamined, including Krakoa, Arakko, and New York. It’s possible that these maps may be released in a series of updates over the next year, given the game’s rapid content delivery pace.
The sheer scale of this update has left many wondering if Marvel Rivals has planned out its entire first year of content, with some speculating that three months’ worth of content could be released in a single season. This would be an unprecedented approach for the genre, which typically sees one hero and map release per season.
It’s also important to note that these leaks suggest that many core Avengers, X-Men, and other iconic characters are still yet to be included in the game. Notable absentees include Falcon and/or Sam Wilson, Cap, Miles Morales, Cyclops, Ice-Man, Apocalypse, Sabertooth, X-23, Red Hulk, Daredevil, Professor X, Ant-Man, Vision, Thanos, She-Hulk, Silver Surfer, Rogue, Quicksilver, Beast, Gambit, and Nightcrawler.
With the popularity of Marvel Rivals showing no signs of slowing down, it’s likely that these characters will be incorporated into the game in future updates.
