US telecom giant Verizon says it has contained and secured its network following a breach by the China-linked Salt Typhoon cyberespionage group.
In a statement provided to TechCrunch, a Verizon spokesperson confirmed that the company had taken swift action to protect its customers and network, having “contained the activities associated with this particular incident.”
