Samsung to Let Galaxy S24-Series Users Turn Off Divisive Photo Feature
In a move that is likely to be welcomed by many Galaxy S24-series owners, Samsung has announced plans to make it easier than ever for users to disable one of its exclusive display features. The company’s decision follows growing criticism over the feature, which has been deemed “divisive” by some.
The new development comes as part of an upcoming software update that is expected to be released in early 2025. According to sources, Samsung One UI 7 users will soon be able to turn off Super HDR system-wide by navigating to Settings, then Advanced Features, and toggling the switch next to “Super HDR” as shown in a screenshot below.
This move marks a significant step forward for the company, which has faced growing backlash over its handling of the feature. Many critics have accused Samsung of prioritizing innovation at the expense of user experience and well-being.
