Frosty’s Frozen Fun: NYT Mini Crossword Clues and Answers for Saturday, January 4
A chilly morning calls for a warm-up of brain teasers! The New York Times has released their latest installment of the NYT Mini crossword puzzle for Saturday, January 4. As always, I’m here to help you out with the clues and answers.

8 Across: “I’m fr-fr-freezing!” — BRR

6 Down: Network that’s aired the Grammy Awards since 1973 — CBS
7 Down: ___ & Jerry’s — BEN
11 Down: GameCube successor — WII
I must admit, I had to pause for a moment on 4 Across, initially thinking it was “foxes” and having never heard of a CORNCOB being used as Frosty the SNOWMAN’s pipe. However, finding CARROTS early on allowed me to unlock many more answers. I’m grateful for that speedy start! The SODAS connection was also a welcome surprise.
On the other hand, BRR and the Nintendo WII seemed like filler answers at first, but they actually helped the puzzle come together in the end. Now, I’m suddenly itching to play some bowling on Wii Sports – who knew it could be so… inspiring?
As always, I appreciate your company in solving these puzzles! Make sure to follow me for more coverage of NYT Mini and other word games, as well as video game news, insights, and analysis.
Stay warm and keep those brain cells buzzing!
