As the new year begins, many of us are looking for ways to improve our health, reduce our environmental impact, and adopt more sustainable habits. One way to do so is by participating in Veganuary, a campaign that encourages individuals to abandon animal-based foods for plant-based alternatives during January.
While some people may view veganism as a restrictive diet or a daunting lifestyle change, the benefits of going vegan far outweigh any perceived inconveniences. Not only can a plant-based diet lead to significant health improvements and environmental benefits, but it also offers an opportunity to re-examine our relationship with food and our own personal values.
