Google Drops Pixel 9 Pro Fold Price In New 2025 Promotion
In a move to take on the competition, Google has announced a significant price drop for its flagship foldable phone, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The new promotion brings the device’s price down by £200 ($248) in the U.K., now available at £1,579 ($1,961).
This substantial discount is accompanied by enhanced trade-in prices, offering consumers more value for their old devices. However, it’s worth noting that trade-in valuations remain a significant disparity between regions, with European customers receiving less for their used devices compared to their American counterparts.
To sweeten the deal further, Google is including an array of freebies with the purchase of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. This includes one year of Google One AI premium cloud storage, three months of YouTube Premium and six months of Fitbit premium. A notable omission from this package remains YouTube Premium for users who opt to pay for the higher-tier Google One AI premium plan.
Additionally, the base Pixel 9 has seen a £150 ($186) discount, now priced at £649 ($806). This comes with a reduced bundle including only six months of Google One Premium 2TB. Meanwhile, other products in the Pixel series have also received discounts, with the Pixel Watch 3 dropping by £70 ($86) and Pixel Buds 2 being discounted by £30 ($37).
Notably absent from this promotion is the top-of-the-line Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL, although it’s likely that Google will announce a significant offer closer to Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra release later this month.
