Google Drops Pixel 9 Pro Fold Price In New 2025 Promotion
In a move to stay competitive with Samsung and Apple in the increasingly saturated smartphone market, Alphabet Inc.’s Google has rolled out an exclusive promotion for its flagship foldable phone, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The tech giant has announced a significant price drop of £200 ($248) off the original cost, making it more accessible to consumers.
As of today, customers in the U.K. can get their hands on this cutting-edge device for £1,579 ($1,961), a substantial discount that is likely to attract even more attention from the masses. The company has also bolstered its trade-in program, offering enhanced valuations for older devices.
The discounted Pixel 9 Pro Fold comes with an array of additional perks, including one year of Google One AI premium cloud storage, three months of YouTube Premium, and six months of Fitbit premium. It’s worth noting that if users opt to pay for the Google One AI premium 2TB plan, they will also gain access to Fitbit and Nest Aware as part of the package.
The Pixel Watch 3 has been discounted by £70 ($86), while the Pixel Buds 2 have seen a price cut of £30 ($37). The base Pixel 9 model is now available for £649 ($806) with only six months of Google One Premium 2TB. Unfortunately, the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL are not included in this particular promotion.
Industry insiders speculate that Google will likely launch a major promotion closer to the release date of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra later this month, suggesting that the company is looking to boost sales ahead of the highly anticipated device.
