‘Thinking Bitcoin’: Michael Saylor Speaks as BTC Maintains $98,000 Price
In a recent interview, Michael Saylor, the co-founder and CEO of MicroStrategy, shared his thoughts on the current state of the cryptocurrency market. As the price of Bitcoin (BTC) holds steady around $98,000, Saylor emphasized that the digital asset has not yet reached its all-time high.
“I’m not sure I believe we’re at our all-time high,” Saylor said in an interview with CNBC’s ‘Squawk Box.’ “I think we may consolidate for a little while.”
According to Saylor, Bitcoin could fluctuate between $100,000 and $90,000 in the short term before it continues its upward trajectory. He stressed that he is not ruling out the possibility of a retest at its all-time high of $108,353.
If investors push the price beyond $100,000, Saylor expects Bitcoin to retest its ATH, but if they fail to do so and instead opt for profit-taking, the digital asset could drop to the support level at $85,000.
Saylor’s predictions come as the cryptocurrency market continues to experience a period of volatility. With many experts predicting a further surge in value due to increased institutional adoption, it remains to be seen whether Saylor’s analysis will prove accurate or not.
