
Samsung Goes Big on Anti-Glare Screens and AI with 2025 TV Lineup
In its annual First Look event at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Samsung has unveiled its latest television lineup for the upcoming year. The company is doubling down on its anti-glare screen technology, which was first introduced on last year’s S95D OLED. This technology is now being expanded to several new models, including its flagship Mini LED sets.
The matte finish is aimed at reducing glare and reflections from overhead lighting, floor lamps, and sunlight. This functionality is expected to be integrated across all Vision AI-enabled devices.
Additionally, Samsung has announced AI-powered home security features that transform your TV into a smart security hub. The system analyzes video feeds from connected cameras and audio from the TV’s microphone to provide comprehensive home monitoring. Users will receive alerts and notifications on their phone or directly on the TV screen, helping them stay connected to their home while ensuring the safety of their loved ones.
Bixby, Samsung’s voice assistant, has also received an upgrade. It can now better understand context and assist with multiple actions simultaneously, such as changing channels and adjusting volume levels. Furthermore, users will be able to control their TV using the Galaxy Watch on their wrist, a feature that does not rely on AI but could still prove useful.
