WWE star Bronson Reed has taken to social media to set the record straight about his brutal injury at Survivor Series. In a post sent on January 5, Reed addressed rumors and false reports surrounding the nature of his injury.
To clear up any misconceptions, Reed revealed that he did not suffer an ankle fracture or injury, but rather smashed his talus bone completely in half. He underwent surgery to repair the damage, which included screws and the removal of fragments from his foot. Additionally, he had to undergo a procedure where bone marrow was taken from his hip and transferred into his foot.
Reed’s injury has significant implications for his future plans. Unfortunately, it means that he will be missing WWE Raw on Netflix debut, scheduled to take place today at 8 PM to 11 PM ET. Fans were excited to see Reed participate in the historic episode, but unfortunately, that is no longer possible.
However, this setback may not be permanent. While an exact timeline for his return has not been disclosed, it’s possible that Reed could make a comeback before April. For fans eagerly anticipating his return, this glimmer of hope provides some solace amidst their disappointment.
As a result of Reed’s injury, WWE Raw on Netflix will move forward without him. But the event promises to be an unforgettable experience nonetheless, with an impressive lineup of current Superstars and royalty set to appear. The Rock, John Cena, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Logan Paul, Solo Sikoa, Paul Heyman, and Roman Reigns are all scheduled to make appearances.
The event will also feature Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, with the latter expected to return soon. It’s unclear if these returns will be permanent or simply a one-time appearance.
WWE Raw on Netflix is available to stream from 8 PM to 11 PM ET today.
