Samsung Goes Big On ‘Vision AI’, 8K And Lifestyle TVs At CES First Look Event
Samsung’s pre-CES showcase event has provided a first look at its vision for the future of television technology, with a strong focus on Vision AI capabilities and advanced TV features.
The company showcased its latest advancements in TV technology, including its new flagship TVs featuring Samsung’s most powerful NQ8 AI Gen 3 processor. This will enable more comprehensive and powerful picture- and sound-improving AI features, including the ability to add millions of extra pixels to sub-8K content with groundbreaking accuracy and naturalism.
One of the key highlights from Samsung’s showcase was its new QN990F TV series, which will be the first to incorporate Vision AI capabilities. These TVs will also feature enhanced AI-driven picture and sound processing, including features such as Auto HDR Remastering Pro, Adaptive Sound Pro, Color Booster Pro, and a full AI Mode that takes into account room surroundings and content type.
In addition to its advanced TV technology, Samsung has also expanded the Art Store on its TVs, which allows users to play artworks on their screens when not in use. This feature is particularly useful for The Frame and Frame Pro TVs, which combine stylish designs with premium Neo QLED screen technology. The new Art Store now offers access to over 3,000 curated works from global partners.
The company has also showcased some more ‘out of the box’ products, including its unique Premiere 5 projector and Micro LED Beauty Mirror. The Premiere 5 is a portable, ultra-short throw projector that can project images onto objects at home and even function as a personal speaker. This product combines Samsung’s LightWARP technology with compact triple-laser UST design to provide users with an immersive experience.
The MicroLED Beauty Mirror, on the other hand, is designed to assist users in their self-care routines by combining advanced reflectance and transmittance technologies with personalized beauty insights that can offer tailored product recommendations based on an assessment of one’s skin type.
Overall, Samsung’s pre-CES showcase has demonstrated the company’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of TV technology.
