UFC Releases 12-Year Veteran Kyung Ho Kang After Two-Fight Losing Streak
In a shocking move, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has released veteran mixed martial artist Kyung Ho Kang after nearly a decade and a half of competition. The decision comes following a dismal two-fight losing streak.
Kang, aged 37, compiled an impressive record of 8-5-1 during his time with the organization, but unfortunately never managed to climb up the ranks or achieve contender status. Despite this, he remained a formidable presence in the octagon, never being stopped via knockout or submission throughout his career.
The last two losses suffered by Kang were particularly disheartening, as they came at the hands of John Castaneda and Muin Gafurov respectively. The most recent defeat took place in June 2024.
Despite a remarkable record for not being finished, the UFC has decided to part ways with the South Korean fighter.
