Zach Bryan Slams ‘Weird Couch Warriors’ for ‘Harassing’ His Friends: ‘Every Day I Lose a Little More Faith in Humanity’
Singer-songwriter Zach Bryan has taken to social media to express his frustration and disappointment with some of his fans, whom he calls “weird couch warriors” for their alleged harassment of his friends.
In a series of Instagram posts, Bryan shared his concerns about the negative impact that these individuals have on those around him. He began by writing, “every day I lose a little more faith in humanity,” before detailing the specific issues he’s witnessed.
“I’m talking about the weird couch warriors who think it’s okay to harass my friends and people close to me because they can’t get their own attention,” Bryan stated. “You’re not getting attention from me or the music, so you gotta go after the people around me? It’s wild.”
He continued to explain that these individuals often focus on trivial aspects of his personal life, rather than engaging with his art and music. This behavior, he feels, is a significant issue that needs to be addressed.
“I’m not gonna keep being quiet about it,” Bryan emphasized. “I will call them out when I see them treating people poorly or disrespectfully. It’s not okay.”
The country-pop star also made sure to express his appreciation for the majority of his fans who are respectful and supportive of him and those around him.
