Few U.S. Spotify subscribers have opted out of the music and audiobook bundle offered by the streaming service, according to a recent survey.
Spotify’s new premium tier, which combines access to both music and audiobooks, was met with mixed reactions from fans when it was initially launched. The higher-priced option, which costs $14.99 per month, offers listeners a vast library of content across various genres.
However, a new study has revealed that only a small percentage of Spotify subscribers have opted out of the bundle in favor of the lower-priced music-only plan or other alternatives.
According to the survey, approximately 10% of users are choosing not to take advantage of the bundled offer. This translates to a significant portion of subscribers still sticking with the basic $9.99 per month option that only offers access to music content.
While the results may be surprising to some, they also reflect the growing demand for audiobooks and other forms of digital entertainment.
