Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has slammed Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) chairman Gary Gensler over his intention to fight until the “bitter end” against Ripple, according to a recent tweet by Elon Musk.
In response to Musk’s post, Garlinghouse stated that it is frustrating to see regulators spend their time on petty issues when there are far more pressing matters that require attention. He emphasized that it would be more productive for them to focus on actual crimes and punish the perpetrators instead of wasting resources on a single company like Ripple.
Musk, who has been critical of the SEC’s handling of various crypto-related cases, echoed Garlinghouse’s sentiments by saying that the organization is “totally broken” and that it would be better if they spent their time addressing real issues.
