Super Bowl LIX will Stream for Free on Tubi
Fox has announced that Super Bowl LIX will be available to stream for free on its ad-supported streaming service, Tubi. The announcement marks the first time the Super Bowl will be streamed exclusively on Tubi.
According to the information provided by Fox, the live broadcast of the game will be accessible without requiring a login or subscription. Viewers will be able to watch the big event in 4K resolution from the Tubi app on their phones or smart TVs.
Tubi, which was acquired by Fox in 2020, has reportedly reached 97 million monthly active users earlier this month. This is not only its biggest live sporting event but also a significant milestone for the streaming platform.
As previously reported, Fox had broadcast rights to Super Bowl LVII in 2023 but limited it to its linear TV channel, website, and app (pay TV subscription required). The option was available for cord-cutters to access the game on expensive live TV streaming services like Fubo and Sling TV.
