It seems that Be at One, a popular bar in London, has taken “going above and beyond” to a whole new level. And by that, we mean literally.
Customers took to social media to poke fun at the bar staff’s over-the-top antics as they danced on the bar and used water hoses to soak each other – all while thirsty patrons were left waiting patiently for their drinks.
One customer shared a photo of the chaos, captioning it “Insane…just when you thought things couldn’t get any crazier #BeAtOne”.
Another user tweeted, “Just had the most ridiculous experience at Be At One. The staff are having some sort of rave party on the bar while customers wait for their drinks. I mean, I’ve seen some wild things in my time, but this takes the cake”
The bizarre behavior left many patrons scratching their heads and wondering if the staff were just trying to create a fun atmosphere or had completely lost the plot.
As one customer put it, “I went there with friends last night and we couldn’t believe what was happening. They were literally using water hoses on each other and dancing on the bar. We’re all just standing there going ‘wait, is this normal?'”
While some customers appreciated the effort to bring some excitement to their night out, others were left frustrated by the lack of attention from the staff.
“I’m all for a good time, but when I’m paying £10 for a drink and there’s no one serving me because they’re too busy having a water fight with each other, it’s just not okay,” another customer wrote on social media.
Despite the mixed reactions, it seems that Be at One’s staff will continue to bring the heat – literally.
