Ronin Ecosystem Grants: $10M Boost for Blockchain Developers
In a recent announcement, Ronin has unveiled the launch of its $10 million Ronin Ecosystem Grants initiative. This move aims to provide financial backing to blockchain developers, offering a substantial boost to innovation and growth within the space.
The grants will be distributed across two distinct programs, with both catering to different phases of a project’s life cycle. The Builder Grant, which offers up to $300,000 in RON tokens, is designed for projects that are already underway or those looking to fund their operational needs. This program recognizes the importance of supporting established projects and start-ups, as well as enabling entrepreneurs to focus on their core business while covering essential expenses.
On the other hand, the Waypoint Grant will allocate $20,000 in RON tokens for smaller enterprises seeking financial backing for user onboarding and marketing efforts. This component serves as a vital bridge for early-stage startups, allowing them to scale their initiatives and attract more users. The grants are specifically designed with the goal of nurturing Web3 projects and fostering a more inclusive blockchain ecosystem.
Ronin’s commitment to supporting its community is well-documented, having recently partnered with Zentry and Sky Mavis to bring PHPC token onto the Ronin blockchain. This move will enable low-cost transactions in Philippine pesos on-chain, further solidifying the platform’s presence in Southeast Asia.
The native token of the Ronin blockchain, RON, continues to show promise as it maintains a market capitalization above $701 million and trades at around $1.85 per unit.
