UFC Announces Huge New Main And Co-Main Event For UFC 313
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has just announced a massive new main event and co-main event for their upcoming card, UFC 313. In a shocking turn of events, the organization has decided to bump up the previously scheduled match between Justin Gaethje and Dan Hooker to the main event.
This fight is expected to be an all-action affair, with both fighters known for their aggressive styles. Gaethje hasn’t fought since his knockout loss at UFC 300 in April 2024, but fans can expect him to come out swinging against Hooker. After a tough stretch of five losses in six fights, Hooker has rebounded impressively, winning three consecutive bouts.
The co-main event has also been updated, with Alex Pereira defending his light heavyweight title against Magomed Ankalaev. This fight will be the perfect showcase for both fighters to prove their skills and assert their dominance in the division.
In addition to these two huge fights, UFC 313 will also feature several other bouts on the card. These include Amanda Lemos vs. Iasmin Lucindo at strawweight, Bruno Ferreira vs. Armen Petrosyan at middleweight, Ozzy Diaz vs. Djorden Santos at middleweight, Alex Morono vs. Carlos Leal at welterweight, Mairon Santos vs. Francis Marshall at featherweight, Bruno Silva vs. Joshua Van at flyweight, and Chris Gutierrez vs. Jean Matsumoto at bantamweight.
The previously scheduled heavyweight bout between Jhonata Diniz and Victor Petrino has been canceled due to an injury sustained by the latter. A rescheduled date is expected to be announced in the near future.
UFC 313 is already shaping up to be one of the biggest events of the year, with these two main event fights sure to deliver non-stop action for fans around the world.
