Virtune Lists Finland’s First Crypto ETPs on Nasdaq Helsinki
Stockholm-based crypto asset manager Virtune has made history by listing Finland’s first-ever cryptocurrency exchange-traded products (ETPs) on the prestigious Nasdaq Helsinki. This groundbreaking move marks a significant milestone in the country’s financial markets, providing Finnish investors with secure and regulated access to crypto assets.
The newly listed ETPs will be tradable in euros, giving traders the opportunity to invest in their preferred digital currencies via well-established financial instruments. A total of five ETPs have been introduced, showcasing Virtune’s innovative approach to the rapidly evolving world of cryptocurrency investments.
These ETPs include a Bitcoin tracker (Ticker: VIRBTCE), offering exposure to the popular digital currency; a Staked Ethereum ETP (Ticker: VIRETHE) that generates staking rewards for investors; an XRP ETP (Ticker: VIRXRPE); a Staked Solana ETP (Ticker: VIRSOLE) with a 3% annual staking reward, and finally, a Crypto Altcoin Index ETP (Ticker: VIRALTE) tracking a basket of up to 10 leading altcoins that are rebalanced monthly.
To ensure the security and transparency of these ETPs, Virtune has partnered with Coinbase, ensuring that all assets are held in institutional-grade cold storage. Additionally, Flow Traders will provide liquidity for the products, guaranteeing tight spreads and reliable trading volumes.
This pioneering move by Virtune underscores its commitment to demystifying cryptocurrency investments and promoting greater accessibility to the sector. The company’s vision of accelerating crypto adoption as a mainstream asset class in the Nordics has taken a significant step forward with this listing on Nasdaq Helsinki.
As Finland takes its first steps into the world of regulated cryptocurrency trading, Virtune is poised to become a leader in the global crypto ecosystem.
