Pi Network Community Grows in These Countries, But When Mainnet?
Despite the ongoing delays and controversies surrounding the launch of its mainnet and native token, the Pi Network community continues to grow in several countries. In recent weeks, the team has reported notable developments in India, Nigeria, and Botswana.
The latest updates from the Pi News account reveal that a large-scale event was held in India on January 26, titled the Megha Event. The gathering took place in Odisha and aimed to bring together supporters of the project. A tweet published by the Pi News handle features a photo of attendees celebrating the platform, captioned “Pi Network pic.twitter.com/d05HgO0t2H — Pi News (@PiNewsMedia) January 30, 2025”
The team also reported on an event held in Nigeria, stating that its presence is “growing stronger every day.” Meanwhile, the project has gained traction in Botswana as well.
While these growth developments may bring some relief to the community, the main concern for many remains when the platform will finally see the light of day with a formal launch. Despite previous delays and speculation about potential fraud, Pi Network maintains that its open network will be live by the end of March 2025.
