Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes ‘Excited’ for Tom Brady to be on Call for Super Bowl LIX
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes expressed his excitement and respect for Tom Brady ahead of their respective teams competing in Super Bowl LIX. The iconic quarterback will be joining Kevin Burkhardt as the broadcast team alongside Fox Sports’ lead play-by-play announcer, calling the game between the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
“I have so much respect for Tom, and he’s been someone that’s given me so much advice in my career,” Mahomes said in a statement. “So, it’ll be really cool, and I’m sure he’ll break it down, and it’ll be a great game, and I’m excited for the fans to see it.”
Mahomes has taken immense inspiration from Brady’s illustrious career, with the latter being considered one of the greatest NFL players of all time. Mahomes himself has started to build an impressive résumé, appearing in his fifth Super Bowl in just eight seasons.
Brady is not only a legendary quarterback but also holds the record for the most Super Bowl appearances by any player (10). He won six Vince Lombardi Trophies throughout his career with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
